This very cool Collings just came into Mojo's and all we can say is WOW.  It comes with the original Hardshell case and is in really in great shape for a guitar that has actually been played and not just hidden away in a collection.  If you have any questions, we can arrange a video conference to show the guitar in better detail and answer any questions you may have.  There are a couple of nicks and light scratches (only in the finish, nothing to wood) that just didn't photograph well.

The Collings OM1AT comes with the upgraded Adirondack spruce top (the A in the name) and is part of the Traditional Series (T in the name).  Collings says:

Our Traditional Series or "T-Series” guitars represent an exciting vintage-inspired tonal variation on the distinctive Collings sound, designed and crafted to showcase the most desirable characteristics present in coveted pre-war

instruments. Bracing and tonewoods are adjusted for weight and thickness to create a voicing characterized by warm, rounded highs and a present low midrange, while retaining a quick attack and strong projection.

PRECISION TUNING

Premium Waverly open-gear tuners offer exceptional tuning stability and smooth reliable operation with a vintage aesthetic.

VINTAGE APPOINTMENTS

Featuring an amber lacquer toner with unique wood purflings, rosettes and bridge pins, the Traditional series have classic appointments to match their distinctive tone.

NECK PROFILE

Our new Traditional neck profile is based on our existing Vintage Now dimensions but adds a more distinct neck taper and rounded fingerboard edges for a played-in feel.

MAKE IT YOUR OWN

The T-Series can be ordered with an optional Adirondack top, either torrefied or non-torrefied, and is also available with an optional sunburst top.

TRADITIONAL VOICING

Each T-Series guitar features hand-selected tonewoods that are voiced to facilitate the warm rounded highs and present low mids that characterize the tonality of our Traditional series.

TRADITIONAL CONSTRUCTION

T-Series guitars are constructed of all solid woods that are acquired, acclimated, and meticulously hand-selected by master luthiers here at our shop.

PLAYABILITY

A combination of exacting PLEK machine leveling and hand fret dressing ensures consistently excellent playability and a silky fret feel.

ULTRA THIN FINISH

The T-Series Nitrocellulose lacquer finish is sanded to an even thinner thickness than our standard instruments, allowing the natural qualities of the wood to shine.
