Eastman has long been a world-class violin builder. More recently, they set their sights on fretted instruments and have approached the building with the same high quality and master luthier techniques. The Eastman MD315 is a great-sounding yet amazingly affordable option for those wanting a traditional F-style Mandolin.
It seems on this one, they didn't quite get all the inside of the F Scroll on the body fully finished. It really doesn't harm playability or looks at all and won't be noticeable to anyone from more than a few inches away. For this reason, we are selling it AS IS and at a solid discount.
