I wish there were more info out there to share on this bass but it is a V62 Reissue (Made in Germany) Hofner 500/1. It is a complete joy to play. It sounds fantastic and is really well made. The original Hardshell case is a work of art in its own right. This bass is AWESOME. Don't get caught sleeping on this one at this price.
There are a couple of finish cracks in the top. They are not through the wood. It looks like it may have been brought in from the heat or cold and not allowed to acclimate.
