Body Shape: Full-sized traditional Dreadnought. This body style maximizes internal air volume, giving the guitar a powerful, bold projection with a rich, classic acoustic voice.
Top Wood: Solid 'A' Grade North American Sitka Spruce. Hand-selected from quarter-sawn wood, the solid spruce top is strong and finely grained. Because it is solid wood rather than laminate, it vibrates freely to produce a bright, well-balanced tone that actually matures and sounds better the more it is played.
Back & Sides Wood: Layered African Mahogany. The mahogany introduces a traditional woody warmth, a strong midrange presence, and robust structural durability that holds up well to changing humidity.
Bracing System: FST2M Forward-Shifted, Scalloped X bracing. By shifting the brace axis closer to the soundhole, Alvarez creates a larger vibrating soundboard area. The scalloped braces are paired with a solid maple bridge plate to optimize energy transfer, delivering a warm, open sound where both bass and treble registers stay balanced.
Bridge Design: Alvarez Bi-Level bridge. This iconic, staggered bridge design increases the string break angle over the saddle, embedding more string tension to enhance overall sustain, volume, and notes definition.

Neck Profile: African Mahogany neck with a slim, slick profile that is highly approachable for smaller hands or players transitioning from electric guitar.
Nut & Saddle: Genuine bone hardware. Unlike the plastic components found on many budget guitars, real bone maximizes vibrational transfer and prevents the strings from binding.
Nut Width: 1 11/16 inches (43 mm), offering standard, comfortable string spacing for both strumming and light fingerstyle.
Hardware: Premium chrome die-cast tuners that are sturdy and hold tuning remarkably well for an instrument at this price point.
