Developed by the Spector Custom Shop, this model features a fully curved body shape, premium hardware, and high-quality materials, delivering the distinguished Spector experience. Every component—from neck profile and nut width to body contours and fingerboard radius—is meticulously constructed by the same expert team responsible for the flagship Custom Shop instruments in Woodstock, NY.
Classic Materials, Uncompromising Craftsmanship
The NS Icon Bolt-On incorporates a resonant, fully curved Alder body paired with a bolt-on three-piece rock maple neck and rosewood fingerboard—tonewoods featured in both the Custom Shop and the renowned Euro Series. Finish options include two solid gloss choices (Black and White) and two traditional stain finishes (Black Cherry and Black Stain), all accentuated by highly figured Quilted Maple tops. Each instrument is equipped with signature Crown inlays, gold hardware, a fully intonating locking bridge, precision tuners, a polished brass nut, and distinctive Spector control knobs.
The Signature Spector Sound, Enhanced
Every NS Icon Bolt-On comes fitted with custom-voiced Aguilar DCB pickups and an Aguilar OBP-2 preamp, offering robust low frequencies and articulate highs. These components, developed in collaboration with the Aguilar team, deliver the classic Spector sound with increased versatility suitable for modern musicians. The 4-string versions feature a Reverse P and J pickup configuration. With its refined, fully curved body, advanced electronics, and adherence to traditional craftsmanship, the NS Icon Bolt-On upholds Spector’s esteemed standards in bass guitar design.
