We are thrilled to announce the addition of PRS Narrowfield pickups to the SE Series with our latest model - the PRS SE NF3R White Pearl! The name of the model comes from its three Narrowfield pickups. In simple terms, these pickups work like humbuckers (without the hum) but produce the rich and vibrant sound of single coils.
The Narrowfield DD (Deep Dish) “S” pickups feature taller bobbins to accommodate more winds and additional metal pieces between the magnets for a more concentrated and powerful tone. The electronics are user-friendly, utilizing a standard 5-way blade pickup switch.
